Stockbridge  Surgery  is  a  successful,  rural,  dispensing,  PMS  Training Practice covering 140  square  miles  of beautiful Hampshire countryside in the heart of the Test Valley


We are looking to appoint a Practice Business Manager. The successful candidate will be expected to lead the business forward strategically to fulfil the vision of improving on our current reputation for the delivery of high quality Patient care whilst maximising the potential of the Practice as a business.  In order to achieve this focus you will be supported by 4 GP Partners and a Team comprising a Dispensary Manager, Accounts Officer, HR Manager, IT Manager, and Reception Manager.  We are looking for a motivated and organised individual, with previous experience in Business Management, who can lead and inspire through excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence in managing a Team and excellent IT skills are essential. Previous experience of working in the NHS is preferred but not essential.

 The Surgery:

  • 9000 Patients and gently growing
  • Dispensing to 85% of Patients
  • 4 Partners, 4 salaried GPs
  • Well supported by fantastic Nursing, Reception, Dispensing & Administrative Teams
  • Two partnership-owned and well-maintained Practice sites
  • Systems: EMIS Web, Docman, Lexacom, Patientchase, Intradoc
