Sarah, our Phlebotomist helps to ease the load on our Practice Nurses by having her own clinics for performing blood tests as requested by the doctors. There is a high demand for her services and clinics are held at Stockbridge and Broughton Surgeries.
"We appreciate that every patient is different. Many are nervous of needles, some have veins that are difficult to access and some may feel unwell. We are trained to make the process as quick and painless as it can be. As part of the practice team we ensure that the phlebotomy service functions efficiently but it's the contact with the patients that brings the most rewards. Whether you are having a single blood test, or if you have to visit us regularly, we look forward to seeing you and we will try hard to make your experience of having blood taken as pleasant as possible."
