Stockbridge Surgery Reception Re-Open with Restrictions:

We have re-opened the reception waiting room but with restrictions to ensure your and our staff safety and to comply with social distancing:

*Only 3 people can be in the waiting room at any one time*

Please only come into the reception area:

1) For a pre-booked face to face consultation

2) To collect medications

3) To collect other items if advised by the doctor

4) To drop off sample pots in the specimens box

As the government guidance regarding shielding patients is relaxed we are down scaling our prescription home delivery service in accordance with this. Please see the below link:

Home Delivery Service Changes August 2020

If you would like to change the destination on your prescription or the way in which you obtain your medication then please advise us when ordering:

  • If you order online, please indicate your preferred destination.
  • If you wish to have a home delivery please fill in the slip on the above link and return to the surgery.
  • If you order using a paper repeat slip, please indicate at the bottom of the slip where you would like your medication sent. 


In the hot summer months many of us experience night sweating and difficulty sleeping... but could this be a sign of the menopause?

The menopause can cause physical symptoms (such as hot flushes, night sweats, palpitations, insomnia, joint aches) and psychological symptoms (such as mood swings, irritability, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, difficulty coping and forgetfulness).

The "Friends & Family test" is a feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience that can be used to improve services.
