Christmas & New Year
Andy Williams has been telling us for so long that ‘It’s the Most Wonderful time of the Year . . . . .’ but sadly for our Dispensary Team it is not!! For them, it’s the busiest time of the year! They have to work throughout the Christmas and New Year period and are not permitted take any annual leave.
Please, please help our girls in Dispensary including our 3 new trainees, by not requesting extra meds for the holiday season . . . we’re only closed for 2 days. Best practice would be to hand in your request for repeat meds a little earlier than usual to allow for possible delays.
All the Team thank you in advance and wish you a joyful Christmas.
NEW Liver Fibroscan Service
Mid Hampshire Healthcare have been commissioned to deliver a Liver Fibroscan diagnostic service. This is an innovative way of identifying patients who are at low, moderate or high risk of developing liver disease. For a Patient Information Leaflet please click here.
We are asking for your assistance in allowing sufficient time when ordering your medication. The Surgery has always requested 2 working days to process your request and for your medication to be ready for collection. However, due to excessive demand, and in order to dispense your medication safely, our turnaround time has had to be increased from 2 days to 3 days. Please bear this in mind when re-ordering
PLEASE NOTE TO AVOID ERRORS WE CANNOT ACCEPT REQUESTS FOR REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS OVER THE TELEPHONE.
DISPENSARY ENQUIRIES WILL NOW ONLY BE TAKEN BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9am and 10am and between 2.00pm and 3.00pm.

Friends & Family Test
The "Friends & Family test" is a feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience that can be used to improve services. We have enabled an on-line Friends & Family test and it can be accessed by clicking here or on the "Patient Survey" button at the bottom of the home page.
For more information on the "Friends & Family Test" on NHS Choices, please click here.
