Patients on repeat medication may be asked to have an appointment with either a doctor, pharmacist, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.

You will be contacted by the surgery when a review is necessary.

Medication Reviews are designed to cover a number of aspects to ensure:

• Your medications are effective in treating the condition they are prescribed for
• You are not experiencing unwanted side effects
• Appropriate safety monitoring has been undertaken
• You understand how to take your medication 

Without the review our Dispensers may not be able to dispense your medication.
