Even more people in Hampshire are now taking up this offer – simply ring your GP and ask for your health check. It costs nothing and is easy to arrange. The receptionist at your surgery will explain more.
NHS Health checks are available during evenings and weekends at Adelaide Health Centre which may be helpful for our patients who are working.
One Hampshire resident told us:
“Early stage diabetes was picked up at the check, so I will be changing my diet and have already seen a Dietician for more advice. I am glad I had the check and my diabetes was found so early because this has given me a chance to make a difference to my health now."
Hampshire County Council are also inviting people to an NHS Health Check
If you receive an invitation get in touch with your GP surgery and arrange your appointment. There is a handy cut off slip to write down your appointment time, so you can keep this safe to remind you.
