Please click this link on further information regarding time frames for how long it takes for the surgery to receive a scan/x-ray report and how to get the result.

X-Rays

  • X-Rays can be requested by clinicians at Stockbridge surgery or hospital clinicians.
  • When a clinician at Stockbridge requests an X-ray, this request is processed by Hampshire Hospitals (Winchester/Basingstoke/Andover) and often an X-ray is arranged for the patient within a few weeks at Andover hospital.
    • Due to this delay, patients concerned they may have a fracture should attend minor injuries/A+E for a same day x-ray.
  • The exception to this is Chest X-rays, where a walk in service is in place during the below times (click this link for up to date timings)
    • Royal Hampshire County Hospital (9am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays)
    • Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital (9am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays)
    • Andover War Memorial (9am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays)
  • For all other x-rays, if you have not heard from the x-ray department after 2 weeks of seeing a clinician, please call the X-ray department (not the surgery) using the numbers below (click this link for up to date contact numbers).
    • Basingstoke:
    • 01256 314789 (open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm)
    • Winchester:
    • 01962 824011(open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm)
    • Andover:
